This Electrical Engineer position is organizationally located in the Utlities Product Line of the Public Works Business Line within Public Works Department Kitsap.

Leads the deployment of processes to maintain the quality of electrical utlities and services
Conducts technical reviews and recommendations for electrical engineering studies.
Coordinates technical requirements with utility providers for utility contracting
Evaluates economic impacts of various electrical utility alternatives on the economy

Basic Requirements : Successfully completed a full four-year professional engineering curriculum leading to a bachelor's or higher degree in engineering from an accredited college or university that has an engineering curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). OR Successfully completed a full four-year professional engineering curriculum leading to a bachelor's or higher degree in engineering in an accredited college or university. The curriculum included differential and integral calculus and courses (more advanced than first-year physics and chemistry) in five of the following seven areas of engineering science or physics: (a) statics, dynamics; (b) strength of materials (stress-strain relationships); (c) fluid mechanics, hydraulics; (d) thermodynamics; (e) electrical fields and circuits; (f) nature and properties of materials (relating particle and aggregate structure to properties); and (g) any other comparable area of fundamental engineering science or physics, such as optics, heat transfer, soil mechanics, or electronics. OR Registered professional engineer in the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or any State in the U.S. The registration is based on a written examination given by the State Board. NOTE: You must provide a copy of your registration with your application. OR Registered professional engineer in the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or any state in the US, and my registration was achieved by means other than written test (e.g., State grandfather or eminence provisions), and my registration is in a specialty field within or closely related to the specialty of this position.
